“nearly had him on the toilet”

My first birth I had waters break before contractions so was looking out for this. I got woken up at 6am with period like pains but no waters broke so ignored it and went back to sleep. 8:30am got woken up by first child and realised the period like pains was still there, as I stood up it became more intense so I ran a bath to relax in.10am ish after the bath I realised the contractions was every 4 mins so we rang the hospital and they wanted us in as my first birth was semi quick (2 and half Hours) 11am ish was in the waiting room and contractions was every 3 mins but not that painful as I was talking away, laughing, texting my parents. then around 11:30am ish still in waiting room full of people as it was so busy, my waters broke everywhere I was drenched and my contractions was full blown pain about 10 second break. I got taken to the toilet right outside the room and as I sat down to clean up what I could I started pushing my body was pushing without me controlling it so the midwives rushed to move me off the toilet to a room next door which they was blowing up an inflated water birth pool. They let me get in it as I had one before In the pool and wanted another if it was possible so I stole someone’s room as his head was almost out. I was in the pool for 5 mins I stood up to get as comfortable as I could get and I pushed him out there and then (big scream) very quick labour nearly had him on the toilet 😂
